Fall in love with the USA

Discover the best restaurants with the best views to celebrate Valentine’s Day in the USA.

Even more romantic than a candle-lit dinner, how about a tête-à-tête by twilight? The restaurants* that we’re suggesting here have the perfect décor and ambience for you to declare your love during a trip for two to the USA.

In Chicago, The Ledge is the perfect spot for a civilised meal. The restaurant offers modern American cuisine, along with special lunches this Valentine’s Day. You can surprise your guest with a personalised welcome message on the walls of the entrance hall, or with a bouquet of roses ordered in advance. If you are planning on proposing, all can be arranged to your taste to give your future spouse vertigo… literally, as the restaurant is 400m in the air, with a 360° view!

In San Francisco, El Techo de Lolinda offers very simple traditional Latin American food, but presented with elegance. The heated terrace offers a beautiful view over the city. You’ll love its bar, with its large variety of cocktails, including their spectacular piña colada, margarita and caipirinha.

In New York, there’s no shortage of restaurants with a view! The choice being so large, we recommend The View, whose dining experience certainly qualifies as ‘breathtaking’.

In New Orleans, in the heart of the French Quarter, the Galvez Restaurant offers continental Spanish cuisine, including paella and ceviche. The view of Mississippi is simply magnificent. If your valentine isn’t around this Saturday 14 February, worry not, as the Galvez is open for Sunday brunch.

You’re always on time to request your ESTA online, as well as your unforgettable Valentine’s meal. For both of these, you must make your request at least two days in advance… particularly for the dinner. ESTA authorisation is even quicker than booking a table in a busy restaurant!
